Sunglasses Care & Maintenance

How should I maintain and care for my sunglasses?

After every use and if the sunglasses are wet, keep it in a warm ventilated dry room and then store in its original packaging. Do not leave the sunglasses, for a prolonged time, in a hot place or near to an artificial heat sources and do not expose to temperatures in excess of 50 degrees Celsius.

To clean the lens, use warm water and optionally a little soap and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners that can damage plastic surfaces. When not in use, the sunglasses should be stored in the original packaging in a safe place.

Carefully check your Vertical Unit sunglasses before use and after a fall. If parts of the sunglasses appear damaged (e.g. scratches on the lenses), immediately change the damaged parts (if applicable), and if necessary, replace the entire pair of sunglasses. Only use original spare parts and accessories provided by Vertical Unit. Vertical Unit is not responsible for damages or defects if you do not use original parts. We suggest you replace the sunglasses after 2 years of normal use because the aging of constituent materials does not guarantee the same protection requirements as when new.
